The Old Bell Museum, Arthur St, Montgomery SY15 6RA – the museum is located in a former pub on Arthur Street in the medieval core of the town.
The Museum is open from 2 April until 27 September 2025. Our opening hours are:
Wednesdays 1.30 – 4.
Thursdays 11 – 4.
Fridays 1.30 – 4.
Saturdays 11 – 4.

Admission: Adults £2.00 Children (under 16yrs) 50p. We are currently only able to accept cash payments. Montgomery Civic Society members and Montgomery School children have free entry
Finding us: The Museum is located on Arthur Street, about 50m from the main town square. On street parking is available in the town and there is a small car park at the recycling centre on the road to Bishops Castle. There are bus services from Shrewsbury, Newtown and Welshpool which stop at the top of the town square outside the Post Office (please note that this location is different to that shown on the map below). The nearest railway stations are at Welshpool, Newtown and Shrewsbury.
